Location: Onsite in NY Office (Hybrid)
What You‘ll Get To Do:
The Venue Sourcing Intern supports the Venue Sourcing team in the end-to-end sourcing process for a variety of meetings and events. This role provides hands-on experience in site selection by assisting with venue research, supporting the review of venue contracts and client addendums for accuracy, and helping to develop and submit RFPs (Request for Proposals) through platforms such as Cvent. This position is designed to provide exposure to venue sourcing operations, systems, and client service within a fast-paced, global brand experience agency.
Your Contributions
- Support the team in researching and identifying venues for meetings and events
- Assist in reviewing venue contracts and client addendums for accuracy
- Help prepare and submit RFPs (Request for Proposals) using platforms such as Cvent
- Track and organize venue responses, availability, and pricing details
- Assist in compiling cost comparisons and tracking potential savings for clients
- Contribute ideas and assist with creative solutions during the sourcing process
- Help consolidate information for client reports and presentations
- Maintain and update venue information in Cvent and internal databases
- Support coordination of site visits, including logistics and materials preparation
- Attend industry events when appropriate for learning and exposure
- Help build and maintain a database of venues, hotels, and destinations
What We Are Looking For:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Creative problem solver, resourceful, and a team player
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workloads and maintain attention to details
United States Residents: The base pay for this position is $20.00-$25.00/hour.
